Carl Orff was born in June 10th, 1895. 
He was a German composer and a music teacher of  the 20th century.


 One of his most famous compositions was the cantata Carmina Burana, written in 1937.

He was born in Munich. First, he studied the organ and the cello. His first pieces of music were published when he was only 16 years old.Two years later he wrote his first opera, Gizei  das Opfer. 

He married 4 times.

 In 1937 Orff wrote the cantata Carmina Burana that contains the cantates Catulli Carmina and Trionfo de Afrodite. All three mean the victory of the human spirit.and they were used for perfomances  and also in political meetings.

He was also a music teacher. 
He taught a combination of music, dance, gymnastics, movement and play. 

He died when he was 86 years old.
